Anchorage Parks & Recreation Commission
The Anchorage Parks & Recreation Commission consists of 11 commissioners. Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of every month, 6:00 pm at the Spenard Recreation Center, located at 2020 W. 48th Avenue. The public is welcome to attend.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Public comment before the commission will follow Municipal policies and procedures for public hearings including:
- Members of the public may only comment one (1) time during the public hearing process on an item.
- Public comment will be timed and each member of the public will be allowed to speak for 3 minutes.
- Groups or organizations may appoint one person to represent the organization. The group or organization representative will be allowed 5 minutes to comment.
