Farmer's Market
Every summer the WIC program provides money towards produce to WIC participants to use at local farmer's markets. This program is called the “Farmer's Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)" and typically starts in July and ends October 31st.
How to get FMNP Funds
Call your local WIC clinic to see if they have the Farmers Market Funds available yet. If so, they will communicate to you how to receive them.

- Find produce vendors at the market who accept the WIC QR Funds. You can ask the info booth at the market or you can look for the signs on vendor booths. When in doubt, ask the farmer!
- Use your QR Code for payment. The farmer's cannot provide change.
- Enjoy your local produce. You can find delicious recipes on the WICShopper app and at WIChealth.org.
