Have you wondered what's in the Fairview Recreation Center? This facility boasts various amenities and spaces catering to different interests and events, and serves as a gathering place for the local community.

Full-size Gym
The center features a spacious full-size gym, perfect for hosting tournaments and other recreational events!
Locker Rooms
Both the men's and women's locker rooms have showers and saunas available. Please stop by the front desk to check in before using the sauna or showers.
Showers: $3 per use (30-minute limit). Please bring your own shampoo, soap, and towel as we do not offer materials on site. Final entry for showers is 6:30 PM.
Saunas: Saunas are dry and do not produce steam. Saunas are not preheated, please plan to arrive 15–30 minutes early to allow for preheating, which takes 5–10 minutes to reach max heat. Sessions are limited to 30 minutes, and proper attire is required. Final entry for saunas is 6:30 PM. Requires a completed waiver to use.
Locks: Locks may not be left overnight.
Celebration Room
Adjacent to the Indoor Playground, this room is well-suited for hosting celebrations, birthday parties, and other events.
Indoor Playground
Fairview Recreation Center is home to Alaska's first-ever, inclusive, indoor playground for year-round playing! Children ages 6-12 can play independently, while those under 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Come climb, play, and explore this fantastic space!
Game Room
Open from Monday to Friday from 2:30 - 5:30 PM for after-school use. Enjoy fun activities like pool, air hockey, and foosball!
Reading Room
The Reading Room is open Monday to Friday from 2:30 to 5:30 PM for after-school use, offering a cozy lounge area for reading. Join the Reading Club on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 PM!
Weight Room
Need a place to workout? Fairview Recreation Center boasts new equipment including a row machine, exercise bikes, elliptical machine, free weights, kettle bells, and much more.
Dance Studio
The dance studio is an ideal space for dance lessons, martial arts seminars, yoga classes, or stretching before a workout.
Multi-Purpose Room
Ideal for large meetings, luncheons, receptions, and seminars, this versatile room is available for room rentals to accommodate various events.
Commercial Kitchen
A fully-equipped commercial kitchen is available for rent, catering to food truck owners or pop-up cooks in need of prep space. It can be rented independently or as part of any room reservation.
