The Anchorage Assembly will hold a special meeting tomorrow evening to continue the public hearing from last week's Assembly meeting on AO 2022-103, regarding the proposed Holtan Hills land disposal in Girdwood. The special meeting will begin at 6 pm on Tuesday, December 13 at the Assembly Chambers at Loussac Library.
Due to the historic snowfall this week, and the driving challenges it presents, the Assembly is announcing multiple public testimony options specific to this meeting.
“The Assembly has been very clear about its commitment to increasing housing stock of varying types, densities and price points throughout the Municipality," said Assembly Chair Suzanne LaFrance. “As Assembly Leadership, Assembly Vice Chair Christopher Constant and I are committed to a robust public process that can adapt to situations such as an historic snowfall to ensure that members of the public can have their voices heard on this important topic. The issue of attainable housing in our community is critical and we must take the time to get it right."
