Apply for the 2022 Disabled Veteran Property Tax Exemption by 3/15/2022
Anchorage Mayor Dave Bronson is encouraging eligible Anchorage veterans to apply for the Disabled Veteran property tax exemption.
Generally, veterans with a service-connected disability that has been rated as 50 percent or more are eligible for the exemption.
Eligible homeowners can remove up to $150,000 of assessed value from their home. For the typical home, the Disabled Veteran exemption means a savings of about $2,700 in property taxes.
Our staff is happy to help you access your veteran benefits and answer any questions.
