Kim Rash Named Deputy Director at the Anchorage Health Department
April 5, 2022 (Anchorage) – Today, Anchorage Health Department Director Joe Gerace announced the appointment of Kimberly Rash as deputy director at the health department. Kim was previously appointed as acting deputy director on March 1, 2022 and will continue in her role as the manager of the Administration Division.
“Since joining the health department earlier this year, Kim has proven to be an excellent administrator. I have no doubt she will continue to be an asset to the citizens of Anchorage in this expanded role," said Anchorage Health Department Director Joe Gerace. “We've built a strong team this past winter, and I believe the health department is well positioned to handle the challenges of the future."
Prior to moving to Alaska, Kim served as the operations administrator at the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services in Colorado and possesses over a decade of human services experience.
