January 15 for returning gardeners, and the new garden lottery selection will take place in March.

New Gardener Lottery
Anchorage Parks and Recreation is holding a lottery for available garden plots for the upcoming
gardening season. Lottery registration opens on
January 15 with an application deadline of
February 28. Winners will be informed on
March 22 and have six days to claim and pay for the plot before it is passed on to another lottery applicant.

Garden plot renewal begins on
January 15. Gardeners are encouraged to use the online website to renew your garden plot. To do so, click on the blue online registration link on this page and log in to your account. Next, follow the instructions to pay for and renew your garden plot.
All plots not renewed by
March 15 are transferred to the lottery for new gardeners.
