I strongly support the increased 1000' P&Z notification zone. Thank you. RC

I support the proposal that public notice should extend to at least 1000'. In the past, as President of Skyway Park Estates Homeowners Assn., Inc. there have been numerous instances where we as an organized active homeowners association have been unaware of proposed developments that could affect our neighborhood. Skyway is a large subdivision and even 1000' feet is not enough, but it is an improvement. I would suggest that where there are active organized homeowner associations, that a copy of the notice be mailed to the officers of the affected subdivision association. It is not enough to just notice within 1000' if the proposed development takes place in a subdivision, without notifying the affected association. The new e-mail notification alert system helps, but I urge you to consider adding a requirement that any active homeowner association be notified if the proposed development occurs within that subdivision. Thank you in advance for considering my comments, Jim Arnesen, President Skyway Park Estates HO Assn, Inc.
