Timberlane Drive abuts Timberlane Park at three locations. The park includes wetland unit #64, designated "C" by the Anchorage Wetlands Management Plan (AWMP). The AWMP notes that this site could be used for drainage treatment. Designers should consider incorporating such a feature into the project, to reduce runoff-related impacts at the system's overall outlet. The design should also, to the extent practicable, avoid precluding any of the alternatives currently under consideration for the South Extension of the Coastal Trail, including spur trails and trailheads/parking areas.
