| Urban Design Commissioners, Wende Wilber, CRW Engineering, will be attending the Turnagain Community Council June 7th meeting to discuss the 95 percent design for the 35th Ave. & McRae Rd. improvement project. I submitted minimal comments on the landscaping plan to Steve Gillette and Duane Maney after I received the project packet earlier this year. Ms. Wilber verbally told me recently that those comments have been incorporated into the landscape design. I understand the UDC agenda item on this project is a nonpublic hearing, but I plan to attend if commissioners have any questions or need input from me, based on any comments that may be raised at our June 7th meeting. | The Spenard Community Council recognizes the many hours of work the Municipality, the engineers and residents represented by the group Neighbors for a Safer Community performed to bring about a road design that will satisfy the public need for safe roads and pedestrian facilities and to protect the needs of the local residents.
