| I write to address one aspect of this project. The project area includes the current site of the paintball facility. The application does not state what the plan is for this facility during project construction. Although it might present some hardship to the permit holder, this facility should not be temporarily relocated elsewhere in the park particularly not to its former location at the corner of Tower and Klatt Roads. The operators were not good stewards of that site where they created an unsightly mess immediately across Klatt from my house. They were required to move last year but left behind holes in the ground and stacks of debris. The debris was not finally removed until a few weeks ag0. The holes remain. A temporary shut down to accomodate this project is not inappropriate given their prior conduct on municipal parkland. | |
