Anchorage Mountain View Lions Club is bringing free multidisciplinary pop-up clinics to Alaska in April — similar to Mission of Mercy's free dental care except patients will be treated in ALL areas. For two weekends (Anchorage then Fairbanks), we will provide completely free dental, vision, mental, and medical care to underserved Alaskans in partnership with local providers and internationally acclaimed nonprofit Remote Area Medical® (RAM).
Momentum Has Been Building
From Alaska Nurses Association, to Alaska Family Medicine Residency and Providence Foundation, to Bean's Cafe, caring organizations are stepping up to fill the gap. Dozens of local volunteers have already registered to help. RAM has committed significant resources, equipment and personnel to support our Alaska clinics.
Volunteer Needs
We encourage health care professionals (dental, vision, behavioral health, medical) and general volunteers from the community to register with ramusa.org.
