Free Dump Passes will be distributed at the Citywide Cleanup event at Westchester lagoon, May 4th, from 11am-2pm, register here 2024 Citywide Cleanup - Event Registration (chambermaster.com). Passes are first come first served, limit one per Anchorage residence. If there are passes leftover, visit the Central Transfer Station at 1208 E. 56th Ave. chances are they will go quickly so please don't delay. Solid Waste Service's mission is to provide safe, efficient, and innovative solid waste management for the Municipality of Anchorage. By distributing free dump passes, SWS's hope is that we can encourage Anchorage residents to clean up our green spaces and make Anchorage beautiful.

The Anchorage Regional Landfill Wood Lot opens May 17-August 31. Free wood disposal Fridays and Saturdays for Anchorage Residents, all other disposal days $20 per truck, larger loads $82.29/ton. Please note, SWS does not operate the South-side wood lot, however, please stay tuned for upcoming wood lot announcements.
