NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY PUBLIC HEARING:
The Assembly of the Municipality of Anchorage will hold a public hearing on the following legislation at its regular meeting of October 12, 2021. The public hearing portion of the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and is held in the Assembly Chambers, Z.J. Loussac Library, 3600 Denali:
Ordinance No. AO 2021-60, an ordinance of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly to reauthorize certain boards and commissions by amending the sunset provision in Anchorage Municipal Code Sections 4.40.020, 4.40.030, 4.60.040, 4.60.060, 4.60.100, 4.60.110, 4.60.160, 4.60.200, 4.60.240, 4.60.275 and 4.60.300, Acting Assembly Chair LaFrance.
Ordinance No. AO 2021-60(S), an ordinance of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly to reauthorize certain boards and commissions by amending the sunset provisions in Anchorage Municipal Code Sections 4.40.020, 4.40.030, 4.60.040, 4.60.060, 4.60.100, 4.60.110, 4.60.160, 4.60.200, 4.60.240, and 4.60.275 [AND 4.60.300], Acting Assembly Chair LaFrance.
Resolution No. AR 2021-337, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its conditional protest regarding a new restaurant/eating place, liquor license #5987, and restaurant designation permit, for Jalos, Inc. DBA Alaskan Burger & Brew located at 5121 Arctic Blvd, Suite H, Anchorage, AK 99503; pending satisfaction of municipal requirements and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action.
Resolution No. AR 2021-338, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its conditional protest regarding the renewal of restaurant/eating place, liquor license #5191, Or Yuk's LLC DBA Noodle World Alaska located at 2844 E Tudor Road, Unit A, Anchorage, AK 99507; pending satisfaction of municipal requirements and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action.
Resolution No. AR 2021-339, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its conditional protest regarding a new golf course, liquor license #5984, for VMH Enterprise LLC DBA Divots Golf located at 4230 Old Seward Highway, Anchorage, AK 99503; pending satisfaction of municipal requirements and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action.
How to Testify: The Assembly receives public comments during Audience Participation, as well as public testimony on all open public hearing items.
The public may participate in person, through written comments, or by phone. There is no sign-up for in-person testimony - the Chair will invite the public to speak on a first come basis during the Assembly Meeting. Please do not sign up to provide phone testimony if you plan to attend in person.
