There is established a Board of Building Regulation Examiners and Appeals (hereafter known as the "Building Board"), as described in Section 4.40.030 of the Anchorage Municipal Code, consisting of eleven members appointed by the mayor and subject to confirmation by the Assembly, who are qualified by experience or training to pass on matters pertaining to building construction.

Meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis, and when scheduled, will either occur on the first or third Thursday of ​the month. For more information, contact Tana Klunder at 343-8301.
