Electrical inspections include installations at all stages of construction. Electrical rough inspections are performed prior to concealing any electrical work. Electrical final inspections are performed when a portion of an installation or an entire installation is complete. Electrical service inspections are required prior to the utility energizing a service.​

Land Use Enforcement has primary enforcement responsibility for the land use code, Title 21, Land Use Planning o​f the Anchorage Municipal Code (AMC).

Plumbing/Mechanical consists of inspecting new construction residential include gas fired appliance replacements, relocations and not limited to additions and alterations.
