General Description and Purpose of Study
The Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is soliciting proposals for qualified consultants to provide professional science and engineering services for development of a Best Management Practice (BMP) document for course particulate matter (PM-10). Due to its climate and latitude, Anchorage faces a number of unique challenges related to the control of PM-10. The objective of this project is to assess the effectiveness and suitability of a number of strategies for PM-10 control in Anchorage and develop a BMP guidance document. Stakeholder involvement will take place throughout this project.
