Looking for a way to get your hands dirty? The Fairview Ceramics Studio has a variety of options to get playing with clay!

On Your Own: Already a pro? You can use the studio on your own. Just purchase a Day Pass or Membership Card from the front desk staff. Please note, patrons must provide their own clay and glazes.

Join a Class: Still learning or looking to improve your skills? Check out our current class schedule for dates and times. Just a friendly reminder: instructors are there to teach, so if you’d like extra guidance or have questions, please sign up for a class.
- Kiln Firing: Need to fire your creations? Kiln firing is available for $30 per firing. Please pay at the front desk before loading the kiln.
Wheel-Throwing Classes
Join us for a four-week, beginner-friendly wheel-throwing class, where you'll learn the basics from centering and shaping to trimming and glazing. Perfect for first-time throwers or those looking to refresh their skills! All materials included. Ages 15+

In this class, you'll learn the basics of wheel throwing — from centering clay to shaping your own pottery. You'll get to choose two pieces for our instructor to trim, glaze, and fire for you. Once your pottery is finished, we’ll email you for pickup! All tools and materials provided. Ages 15+

Hand-Building Classes
Over four weeks, you'll have the time to craft larger, more detailed projects—whether functional or decorative. Learn essential handbuilding techniques, including coil building, secure attachments, glazing, and more. Perfect for beginners or those looking for a break from the potter’s wheel All materials included. Ages 10+

Organize your pencils and pens in a cup that's uniquely yours! In this class, you’ll learn how to create a pencil holder from start to finish, using slabs to hand-build the shape and various tools to add decorative patterns. You’ll also have the option to add embellishments and underglazes for a pop of color.. All tools and materials provided. Ages 8+
