Anchorage Gardening Organizations

Yarducopia: Yarducopia is a program of Alaska Community Action on Toxics, a small non-profit based in Anchorage, Alaska. They provide safe gardening practices through a model system for organic, regenerative, and community-based gardening. Yarducopia pairs homeowners who donate yard space and tools with volunteers who want to learn about organic gardening techniques.

Anchor Gardens The mission of Anchor Gardens i​s to make gardening resources and expertise accessible to everyone in the Municipality of Anchorage regardless of income or home ownership status: and to connect individuals and their skills to a network of building social capital through gardening.

Grow North Farms Grow North Farms provides opportunity for early-stage food businesses to grow and scale. Local growers and emerging entrepreneurs can test their products and scale their sales month-to-month, and community members can support up-and-coming talents and local. Over 20 neighborhood farmers, including 9 independent businesses, are farming on site; all of whom are of refugee or immigrant backgrounds.​​
