The Girdwood Community Room is located within the Girdwood Community Center at 250 Egloff Drive.
The room is available for individuals and groups to rent on an hourly basis. The room is approximately 1000 square feet, with vaulted ceilings and has windows on two walls. It is equipped with overhead lighting, a podium, microphone, flat screen for digital displays, and dropdown screen with wireless mounted projector. A sound system for public speaking is also available. The Girdwood Community Room has 90 stackable chairs, 10 tables, coat rack and upright piano.
A
kitchenette with an oven, range, microwave and refrigerator is within the room. Cookware, plates, serving dishes, utensils, napkins, etc. must be supplied by the group renting the room. A public restroom is located nearby, in the main entry to the Girdwood Community Center building. Alcohol may be served in the Girdwood Community Room, with paid and approved alcohol waiver completed provided prior to rental.
Those renting the room are responsible for set up, tear down and clean-up of the room to its original condition. Rental of the room must include time to accomplish these tasks. A cleaning fee will be charged if the room requires additional service.
