New Period Passes and Payment Options Offer Convenient, Easy, Secure and Fast Ways to Pay

July 23, 2018 - Using the People Mover mTicket App, riders now have access to new ticket options with the introduction of period passes, and new ways to pay for tickets with the deployment of Masterpass and Apple Pay digital wallet technology, eliminating the need to input credit or debit card numbers, billing information or security codes.

Masterpass and Apple Pay

To use Masterpass or Apple Pay on the People Mover mTicket App, customers can select the fare they wish to purchase, choose the stored payment card of their choice and complete the payment by using either Masterpass checkout, or the Touch and Face ID features for Apple Pay.

Period Passes

The addition of period passes means that riders can now purchase tickets and store them in the secure ticket wallet for use on a future date. The application works offline meaning you are never left without your ticket.

How it Works

  1. Download the People Mover mTicket App for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

  2. Select the type and quantity of bus passes you'd like.

  3. Open your Ticket Wallet and activate your pass before boarding.

Things to Remember

  • All purchases within the app are secure
  • New payment method is only needed when using the app for the first time, or there is no previously saved payment methods
  • Activate your ticket just before boarding
  • Purchases through the People Mover mTicket App are tied to the device you make them on and will not show on other devices
  • Passes purchased using mTicket will expire after 90 days
