Parks and Rec working with DOT to secure the remaining portion of the Rabbit Creek pedestrian bridge and to limit access.
Project Management and Engineering Dept. engaged to determine any possible Muni role in repair and replacement.
Anchorage School District has re-routed bus service for families impacted by the pedestrian bridge outage. Notice of changes to come to impacted families later this afternoon by ASD.
Parks and Rec engaged as needed to address downed trees.
AFD is experiencing a heightened number of structural assessment calls and response times may be delayed. Notice was conveyed publicly via Rave Alert and Warning system this afternoon.
APD and AKDOT monitoring minor rockfall on the Seward highway.
Muni Street Maintenance is monitoring any roadway issues. Some minor local flooding issues.
No notable structure damage to MoA facilities identified thus far.
Anchorage Health Dept. and Mayor LaFrance's homelessness and health teams working to provide early access to warming shelter today and potentially tomorrow for our unsheltered population.
Utilities are engaged in response as well, and crews are working to restore power to all affected customers as soon as possible. Outages are decreasing currently.
The public should continue to use 311 for non-emergency information or support requests.
