Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a short-term program for the region that details which projects will take place over the next four years and ensures they fit the budget. These projects align with the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). Like the MTP, all federally funded or important transportation projects in the AMATS area during this four-year period must be included in the TIP, regardless of where the funding comes from.
