Anchorage Fire Department is proud to partner with Solid Waste Servicees to provide community members with an opportunity to dispose of the woody materials gahtered during their property cleanup efforst. The wood lot at the landfill in Eagle River opens on March 31st and the midtown location opens May 1st.

The wood lot at the Solid Waste Services Central Transfer Station at
1310 E. 56th Ave. will be open for the 2025 season.

The Eagle River Wood Lot is operated by Solid Waste Services and is located at the Anchorage Regional Landfill, at the Hiland Road exit from the Glenn Highway:

 15500 Eagle River Loop ​​Road.
